Lost your place? Take a cue from Eddie Izzard. . .

Eddie Izzard is a great role model for how to deal with the audience when your material isn't working. I posted earlier about his comments when his jokes were bombing.

We've all forgotten our place momentarily during a presentation, and instead of panicking, ideally we just glance at our notes and go on. Eddie Izzard goes a little further:

"Um. Oh, I've forgotten the rest of the show. How does it go now?

Emergency joke: Two men went into a pub, and they totally redecorated it. It was brilliant."
