Reminder about PowerTalk conference

Don't forget about the PowerTalk conference on February 3rd (that's a week from tomorrow), cosponsored by local Toastmaster Clubs, Santa Barbara City College, and SBCC Adult Education.

The conference will be held at the The Fé Bland Forum, SBCC, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The breakout sessions include:

The Magic of Visuals (Flip Charts/Overhead Projection)
Write/Speak/Present While Dealing with Butterflies
The Power of Thinking on Your Feet (I really need this one!)
Audience Grabbers! Get Their Attention Right From the Start
Teach an Old Dog New Tricks: Adult Learning Principles and Public Speaking (that one's mine, of course)

And more! There will also be a demonstration of a Toastmaster meeting, if you're interested in learning more about becoming a Toastmaster.
